Water Quality Meters – Handheld

YSI ProPlus- A versatile, easy to use and carry handheld multiparameter meter. This meter can be set up to log data from every second up to once per day and is usable in conjunction with a flow cell for low flow sampling. Available in 1, 4 & 10m cable lengths. (Able to read: pH, temp, Conductivity, Salinity, DO, ORP, nitrate, chloride, NH4, TDS)

YSI 556- Hand held multiparameter meter capable of logging overnight at any specified time interval. 10mcable. (Able to read: pH, ORP, DO, conductivity, salinity & temp)

Horiba U-52- A very accurate and versatile portable unit with complete logging capabilities. Uses a two meter cable. (Able to read: pH, temp, cond, DO, turbidity, TDS, salinity, seawater, specific gravity)

Hach 2100P turbidimeter- The 2100P portable turbidimeter is highly accurate, sensitive, and reliable. It is well suited to either lab or field testing and reads digitally in NTU from 0-1000. (Able to read: NTU)

Oakton pH meter- Compact and reliable pH meter that is very accurate, easy to use and has a quick response time. (Able to read: pH, temp)

YSI ProODO- Comfortable Optical dissolved oxygen meter with a 4m cable. Extremely accurate and easy to use. It has logging capabilities from per second to per day. (Able to read: DO, temp)

InsiteIG M3100 Pro DO- This is a very reliable and accurate optical dissolved oxygen meter that does not require calibration often as it has less than 1% sensor drift per year. Data logging and PC download capabilities are standard. 7.6 meter cable. (Able to read: DO, temp)

InsiteIG 3150 suspended solids meter- This meter uses near infrared optical technology to accurately measure suspended solids; it does not require calibration often as it has less than 1% sensor drift per year. Data logging and PC download capabilities are standard. 7.6m cable (Able to read: SS, temp)

Water Quality Meters - In Situ

INW TempHion-A highly accurate inconspicuous sensor with long term sensor stability. Its 19mm diameter slim size is designed to fit where space is limited. Equipped with non-volatile memory capable of storing over 65,000 records and able to log for months at a time. (Able to read: pH, temp, ORP)

INW PT2X- A slim 19-23mm diameter design pressure / temperature sensor and logger with adjustable logging and large memory bank standard with INW. Long term sensor accuracy. Available in 20-100psia (5-85m below static water level). (Able to read: Pressure, temp)

INW PT2X-BV Baro logger- Barometric pressure logger especially designed for the INW range of transducers.

INW CT2X-Available with pressure sensor and durable to 5m depth or without pressure sensor and capable of reaching up to 285m depth. Standard INW logging and memory. (Able to read: conductivity, temp, pressure)

YSI Castaway CTD logger- Rugged, water proof and easy to deploy instrument with built in GPS that records its location internally every cast. Does not need user calibration and does not need tools or computers to be operated. (Able to read: pressure, cond, position, temp)

Zebra Tech D-opto- A hardy and accurate optical DO sensor and logger. No short term calibration drifts. (Able to read: DO, temp)

Interface Meters

Heron SM- Oil / water interface meter- 20m tape length. Ideal for measuring hydrocarbons floating or sinking in shallow water tables.

Solinst 122- Oil / water interface meter- 50m tape length. Slim 16mm design.

Water Level Meters / Sounders

Solinst 101 P2- A water level meter with a narrow 9.5mm design. (Available in 30m or 100m tape lengths)

Enoscientific Well Sounder- Acoustic based unit designed to measure distances down pipes or well to the water / dry bottom. Max range is 700ft

Air Monitoring Equiptment

PID MiniRae 2000 / 3000- Photo ionization device designed for a wide range of VOC selectable from its built in memory list; over 300 different correction factors. Suitable for a range of applications from health and safety to emission leak detection.

QRAE / QRAE plus- Multiparameter air quality meter using electrochemical based ‘smart sensors’. This unit reads methane (as % LEL), H2S, CO and ambient oxygen levels, and allows data to be logged. High and low alarm levels can be set wherever is most relative for the user and area highly visual and audible.

Eagle 4 gas – This is a gas based multiparameter handheld that measures CH4 (%LEL), CO2, CO and O2 levels; these are measured using a combination of infrared and electrochemical cell technology. Adjustable alarm and calibration levels make this unit quite versatile for portable field use.

Eagle – An easily portable unit designed to accurately measure methane within a huge concentration range. This is achieved using a single IR sensor and is expressible as % LEL or ppm.

TSI DT8530 DustTrak2 – An aerosol dust monitor and logger in one with a portable desktop build. Using light scattering laser photometry technology this unit can measure air contaminants such as dust, mist, fumes and smoke. The DustTrak2 provides low maintenance real time aerosol mass readings within its aerosol Concentration range of 0.001 to 150 mg/m3. This instrument is suitable for clean office environments but is still at home in heavy industrial areas; this makes it perfect for a wide range of environmental applications.

Peristaltic / Sampling Pumps

Solinst SP410 peristaltic pump – The pump uses a 12v battery / external source and can deliver from 40ml/min to 3.5L/minusing variable speed reversible pumping. This instrument is great for shallow wells and can provide lift up to 8m below static water level.

Geocontrol Pro – A low flow sampling kit that is light and portable. Allows true low flow sampling from as deep as 200’ and is compatible with most bladder /air lift pumps on the market. The Geocontrol can be run from a 12v car battery and is supplied (unless specified) with a pump and built in compressor.

Soil Sampling Equipment

AMS mini auger sampling kit – An easy to use 2 ¼” auger with 3’ quick connect extension rods and a cross handle. This comes with both mud and regular auger heads.

AMS Soil vapor kit – A soil sampling kit designed to take soil vapor samples at shallow depths. Available with dedicated tips or with retractable removable tips. Excellent for sampling hydrocarbon spill or leakage sites.

Open Water Sampling

Liquiport 2000 water sampler – A portable liquid sampler with pump lift to 7m and a medium detection system. This sampling system has dynamic programming capabilities (sample by time, external trigger, flow proportion, etc.) with 20L of sample storage. Features data logging and easy RS232 communication.

Petite Ponar grab sampler – A smaller version of the standard ponar sampler making it very easy to sample benthos without the use of cranes or winches.  Designed for a hand line, this model is easy to carry and use.

Horizontal van dorn sampler – 2.2L in size and supplied with either 20m or 60m of line, designed to take water samples at any depth under thin vertically stratified conditions.

Vertical van dorn sampler – 2.2L vessel with a 20m or 60m line, opaque casing to eliminate light affecting the sample.

Sontek flow tracker ADV – Acoustic Doppler measurements are the most preferred methods of measuring flow in streams and rivers. This instrument utilizes these techniques to produce 2D and 3D flow maps while conducting ‘smart’ QC. The flow tracker provides a complete profile easily output as a pdf, making this ideal for all your flow gauging needs.

Sontek river surveyor S5 or M9 – The M9/S5 is a highly sophisticated and intuitive acoustic device used to measure open channel hydraulics and create flow profiles in systems that other instruments cannot. Its smart pulse and vertical beam systems provide excellent resolution detail of system profile which is computed onboard thus protecting data from communication drop outs. This instrument is also fitted with GPS and a standard 360o compass sensor to compensate for vessel motion or moving bottoms.
