If you’re in the field of civil construction (large and small site), stormwater, utilities, contractor, consultant or council staff, the ARC invites you to its Sediment and Stormwater Field Day, 2010.

With the theme of ‘Innovation driving change’ this field day will give you on a hands-on look at some of the newest developments in our industry.

There will be big project showcase talks from some of the region’s main contractors followed by large scale, small group, practical demonstrations of TP90 works, small sites and utilities and low impact design.

And that’s not all! Industry and government agencies will have their trade show on site, and you can have a sneak preview of the Botanic Gardens own low impact design theme park that is almost ready for its official opening. They have installed green roofs, permeable paving, vegetative swales, rain gardens, rain tanks and a new urban green tree pit.

Attendance is free, and there is plenty of parking (see map below). We’ll finish the day with a traditional ENVCO sponsored BBQ and drinks and a chance to talk shop before the earthworks season gets underway.
