Similar to the Sedgewick Rafter but specifically for nannoplankton. The circular chamber is shallow for use
with 40 to 45x objectives. Do not use unless your sample contains a dense population of ten or more plankters per field, due to the cell’s small size. Such a small sample portion from a less dense population can cause serious underestimation of density. Stainless steel or disposable plastic. Wt: 8 oz.

• Volume is 0.1 mL for all types.
• Ceramic cell is shallow, 17.9 mm diameter x 0.4 mm, with two cover glasses and two charging channels.
• Disposable cell contains a glass slide glued to a shallow vinyl cell, 394 sq mm in area, 0.25 mm thick. Includes: 4 disposable slides, 12 cover glasses in 2 snap-lock cases.
• Stainless steel cell is shallow, 17.9 mm diameter x 0.4 mm deep, with 2 charging channels. Consists of 75 x 15 x 2 mm thick polished glass slide glued with SS epoxy to form flat-bottomed chamber. Chamber area is 252 sq mm. Includes: 2 cover glasses, snap-lock plastic case.
