Point sampling
• Observe Ex-proof guidelines!
• Two cables are required (lowering cable and pulling cable).
• Lower immersion cylinder to required depth.
• At required depth, jerk the pulling cable to open the valve.
• The sample flows into the cylinder.
• Release pulling cable to close valve. Raise cylinder with lowering cable.
• Empty the cylinder via the base valve.

Bottom sampling
• Lower cylinder with lowering cable until it hits the bottom.
• The weight of the cylinder opens the valve.
• The sample flows into the cylinder.
• Raise cylinder with lowering cable, the valve closes automatically.
• Empty the cylinder via the base valve.
